Rachel makes small batches of hand thrown and hand built pottery out of her studio at the bottom of her garden in Chester. Her work is a mix of functional and sculptural ceramics and is inspired by slow living & our tactile connection with clay.
Rachel is OBSESSED with clay. She believes it’s an endless road of discovery and gets as much joy in making her own work as she does sharing her skills with others so they can learn, create and grow in confidence. She believes that you don’t have to ‘feel’ like you’re artistic to be able to give pottery a go, because anyone can be guided to create work they are proud of.
